Online Registration Open
Just a reminder that online registration is now officially open for the Spring 2018 Season!
Members of the board will be at the IMS Gymnasium on January 28 and again on February 11 from 9:30am to 11:30am to help answer questions and help with the registration process. We will have fundraiser information available on those two days. Contact Aimee Charles for more information at 517.290.4962.
New this year, you can re-use the uniform from last season to save you some money on the club cost! If you use the uniform from last year, you must make sure the player’s number is visible or you will have to reorder a new uniform. Total cost for the club is $90. If you re-use your uniform your total cost is $75.
Recruit your friends to play! No experience is necessary for playing soccer with us! Our coaches train and educate all skill levels!

I just wanted to take the time to make sure you knew that we are on social media! Ionia Youth Soccer Club is currently on Facebook and Instagram.
If you haven’t done this yet, please take a moment to follow us on either or both Facebook and Instagram. Hope everyone is having a safe holiday season this year! I just wanted to keep you informed on the upcoming spring season for Ionia.
We do not have a tentative date set for Spring 2018 Open Registration. We do know we will be having it towards the end January 2018 or beginning of February 2018 and it will be held on a Sunday in the Ionia Middle School Gymnasium. We will have it on 2 different Sundays so you will be able to make at least one. We encourage all payers to bring a friend to play!

U15 Team is scheduled for their Team Pictures this Sunday October 1 at 3pm on the High School Soccer field. Just before the home game vs Portland.
Other teams, your coach will be getting in contact with you about team pictures. If you have any questions, contact your coach.
Proceeds from the team pictures go directly to the Ionia Youth Soccer Club for equipment, maintenance, etc.

Fall Season Underway!
We are no longer taking any new registration from new players for fall 2017 season. All rosters have been finalized. If you have players that are interested in playing with us, keep them updated for Spring 2018. Open registration will begin in January 2018.
Opening games begin tomorrow with all CASL teams. Good luck to all our players! If you have any questions with your uniform, please contact Kari Jones at ioniayouthsoccerclub@gmail.com.
Coaches:
Pictures of each player MUST be uploaded in Blend Your Game BEFORE your first game. If you are having problems with this, please contact Aimee Charles at ioniayouthsoccerclub@gmail.com. For all CASL games, each team and their parents sit opposing sides from the other team. This is a requirement for the CASL league unless the other team agrees to be on the same side as our team.
Players and Parents:
We are asking all players and parents to be respectful at all games. Please understand, if you are disruptive during the game, a ref can and will use a yellow card which will go to the coach. Profanity will not be tolerated and if used a red card will be issued and the coach will be ejected from the game. Let’s make sure we show our youth to be respectful during this season!
I encourage ALL coaches and parents to report back after each game regarding the refs good or bad. You can find the link on the CASL website at www.caslsoccer.org under referee information. No one ever reports the good games they experience.
